Prescient BTC is one of winners.
Reports say that the Communications Regulation Commission (CRC), Bulgaria's telecoms regulator, has now awarded the two Class B (two 2 x 5MHz and 1 x 5MHz) 3 G licences on offer (click). The winners are apparently Bulgarian Telecommunications Company (BTC) and Cosmo Bulgaria Mobile. Back in March BTC was confident enough of securing a licence to announce its intention is to start 3G services in Sofia by the end of this year (click). The CRC earlier awarded MobilTel Bulgaria's single Class A (2 x 10MHz and 1 x 5MHz) 3G licence.
