Thursday, 05 May 2005

Fifty companies will be mounting the world’s largest live demonstrations of OSS/BSS solutions at this year’s TeleManagement World which is being held in Nice from 16-19 May. AT&T, Bell Canada, BT Group, China Unicom, Colt Telecom, Covad, France Telecom, Kingston Communications, NTT Group, SBC, Swisscom, TeliaSonera, and Vodafone will join together with nearly 40 suppliers to mount eight major live demonstrations in TM Forum's Catalyst Showcase. The Showcase is a unique feature of TeleManagement World, bringing to life practical OSS/BSS solutions from multi-company, multi-national teams that are collaborating to solve urgent real-world business, operational and interoperability issues. This Catalyst Showcase is global, with participants representing 15 countries from four continents. In addition, this current set of Catalyst Projects strongly reflects the business focus of the telecom marketplace and addresses such issues as operational automation, business process management and revenue assurance, in addition to tackling the complex topic of seamless OSS/BSS software and systems integration.
