In its search for mobile office solutions for its enterprise customers, VOXmobile is relying on technology from Siemens. The operator has selected the e-mail push and personal information management (PIM) solution mobile office @vantage of the Siemens Communications Group. From the end of June 2005, VOXmobile's enterprise customers will be able to receive or send e-mails in real time, as well as synchronize calendar entries, tasks and contacts using their PDA or smartphone. The solution will be delivered, commissioned and maintained locally by Siemens Business Services Luxemburg. VOXmobile operates a UMTS and a DCS 1800 license and has acquired 73.000 active mobile customers in its 12 months of operations which represent a market share of around 20% of the Luxembourg market.
