British communications company Inclarity has announced a series of investments in
Africa markets as it seeks to expand its business through advanced satellite services and solutions that provide data and voice connectivity. Inclarity is seeking to trigger growth to the level at which it has experienced in
Iraq, based on services launched there in 2004 with an investment in the region of US$4mn. Inclarity's Global Satellite Networking solutions connect remote destinations over a dedicated satellite space segment back to Inclarity's international carrier-class network. This enables telecommunications companies in markets around the world to offer their customers high quality, cost-effective international calls and internet access. Inclarity's Global Satellite Network solution connects directly and securely to the UK backbone network using multiple redundant routes, enabling internet connectivity and voice traffic to be collected and terminated to and from anywhere in the world. Inclarity also provides global satellite services to mobile users, allowing them to make inbound and outbound international calls, in many regions of
Iraq through a partnership with AsiaCell, one of three GSM providers with a licence in the country. Since launching early last year, Inclarity has grown its operations rapidly and now handles call traffic for more than 1.3 million mobile users in
Iraq.
