Siemens Business Services has signed a contract with Linux distributor Red Hat to be its first European Premier Business Partner. In future, Siemens will add Linux software from Red Hat to its IT solutions and offer it throughout Europe. The first customer projects have already been implemented. As an "Authorized Support Partner" of Red Hat in EMEA, Siemens will in future address public sector customers and large enterprises in this segment with its offerings for consulting, implementation, migration and even full-scale operation support.
