McAfee and Good Technology have announced an agreement to enable enterprises to distribute McAfee’s VirusScan Mobile entirely over-the-air to smartphones, using Good's Secure OTA technology. VirusScan Mobile will now be available as a partner application for over-the-air distribution via the GoodLink Management Console, and the two companies will work together to continually ensure handhelds can get the latest McAfee software using Good’s Secure OTA capability. As enterprises scale their smartphone deployments, the combination of McAfee VirusScan Mobile and Good’s end-to-end security architecture will better enable enterprises to maintain employee productivity, protect corporate data from malware attacks and enforce corporate compliance.
