The Redux Global ICT-100 Index (R-100) closes the year down for the month, but up for the year.
The R-100 closed on 30 December, 2005 at 1077.81, down from 1085.77 on 02 December. That’s a slip of 0.7%. Over 2005, the R-100 went from 1027.06 to 1077.81, a gain of more than 5%
Europe was up 1.2% in December; the Americas were down nearly 6%; Asia
was down 1.2%. As usual we can blame the yanks, although the first few
trading days of 2006 find them resurgent.
More analysis will follow, for the month of December and the year of 2005. Cue the whizzy graphs (if I can remember how to do them!)
