T-Mobile Germany launches FMC offering Print E-mail
Friday, 13 January 2006

T-Mobile Germany announced the launch of its T-Mobile@home fixed-mobile convergence (FMC) offering on 16 January. For an additional €4.95 per month, its existing contract customers can make calls from their mobile to domestic fixed lines at a cost of €0.04 per minute. In addition, the offering comprises a home zone, extending to a radius of 2km around a pre-defined point (e.g. home or work). Customers receive a fixed-line number and can be reached at fixed charges inside the home zone. Moreover, T-Mobile provides two additional options, ‘Family&Friends’ and ‘Fürs Business’, which enable up to five users to make mobile calls to one another using fixed-line tariffs. Inside the home zone, such calls are free-of charge via short-code dialling.
