Empower Interactive has secured US$18mn in a new round of funding headed by Scottish Equity Partners (SEP), one of UK's leading technology venture capital groups, supported also by existing investors Argo Global Capital, Cazenove Private Equity, DN Capital and IDG Ventures Europe.

Empower Interactive plans to utilise the funding towards three specific areas of expansion; mobbing into North and South America, investing in and increasing resources towards its technology platform MDSA (Mobile Data Services Architecture) and giving itself the flexibility to take advantage of favourable corporate development opportunities as they arise.
