Telsis supports UK participation TV service Print E-mail
Wednesday, 29 March 2006

Telsis expertise in telephony for mass audience and consumer response is at the heart of a revolutionary participation TV service in the UK. Called Myriad, the service has been developed by Affiniti, the communications integrator business of Kingston Communications. It combines the national reach of Kingston's UK-wide next-generation telecommunications network, a unique applications server developed by Affiniti, and the power of Telsis' Ocean range of interactive voice response equipment, switches and IN platform. The result is not only the UK's largest fully interactive mass calling system - at over 11,000 lines, five times the size of its nearest rival - but the first to let broadcasters and brands personalise mass events by integrating them with their own viewer or consumer databases. As well as advanced call routing, call recording, audio announcements and interactive voice response functionality, Myriad provides real-time statistics to enable broadcasters and brands to analyse the calls they receive.
