Arbinet-thexchange has entered into a commercial arrangement with PacketExchange, to offer VoIP service providers the ability to connect to its voice exchange using a quality managed private IP backbone from 24 PoPs in Europe. Under this arrangement, current and future Arbinet Members will enjoy the benefits of the enhanced performance of a high quality private IP backbone to reach thexchange. These 24 PoPs will function as Arbinet VoIP Exchange Delivery Points (VoIP EDPs). In addition, Arbinet will extend its range of voice services to existing and future PacketExchange customers who connect to the company’s network from all of its global points of presence.
