TMN has launched its new mobile SMS MicroCommunities service in Portugal, enabling end-users to create their own SMS communities and to join other private communities through TMN's i9 mobile portal. This new solution is based on Alcatel's Mobile Kiosk, which allows content aggregation and service delivery in a hosted and operated mode, integrated with the TMN i9 portal. TMN's SMS Microcommunities service allows subscribers to send SMS messages to a group of friends or to any member of their community, and to create their own SMS alerts.
