M1 launches free mobile email Print E-mail
Monday, 05 June 2006

M1 enterprise customers will be the first in Singapore to be able to enjoy free email with M1 Windows Mobile Email solution, which will allow users to securely and seamlessly access their corporate emails on the go with their Windows Mobile-powered devices. Available from 1 June, all M1 enterprise customers signing up for this service without existing data plans will be given 2Mb data for them to enjoy faster access to all of their Microsoft Office Outlook information including email, calendar, contacts and tasks on their mobile device. Customers will also have peace of mind knowing that the information stored in their device is secure. Their IT administrators can remotely manage and enforce IT policies over the air, and remotely delete data if a device is lost or stolen.  Persistence storage also helps prevent any loss of data should the battery be drained or removed. The Windows Mobile Email solution works with any Windows Mobile 5.0 Device with MSFP, including O2's Xda Atom and Xda Atom Pure.
