OZ delivers mobile email for US MVNO Print E-mail
Monday, 05 June 2006

OZ has announced the debut of the OZ Mobile Email Solution on Virgin Mobile's Kyocera Switch_Back and Slider Sonic handsets, allowing customers to access their AOL Mail and AIM Mail accounts on the go. The OZ Mobile Email service provides Virgin Mobile customers with OZ Mobile Email clients that are available as downloadable applications. The Client offers an intuitive email experience that is similar to PC-based email. Consumers can quickly access their existing email accounts and stay connected in three simple steps. Users simply select the familiar AOL or AIM logo, enter their existing username and password and within seconds, users are able to connect with their email community while on the go. The OZ Mobile Email Solution consists of the Mobile Email Gateway and the Mobile Email Client. The Mobile Email Gateway provides mobile operators with the necessary protocol adaptations, billing, reporting and customer care interfaces that they require to effectively deliver branded portal email services to their subscribers. As a result, for the first time, mobile operators can generate new revenue and directly impact their bottom line with a variety of flexible billing options.
