30 September, 2004: Racal Instruments Wireless Solutions (RIWS) has supplied CGC, the largest test-house in Taiwan , with its 6103 AIME/CT conformance test platform. The 6103 AIME/CT extends CGC's test capability and the range of services available to manufacturers in S E Asia. A key factor in choosing the 6103 AIME/CT was RIWS' track record in leading the development and deployment of EDGE test technology. RIWS was first to market with EGPRS test cases and still has more validated test cases than any other manufacturer.

A
nn Tao of CGC said: "The addition of the 6103 AIME/CT to our test portfolio has played a key role in CGC achieving its recent PTCRB approved status. It represents a major step forward in increasing the availability of independent EGPRS testing. We are already using the system to test handsets for mobile manufacturers in China , Hong Kong and  Taiwan . We are finding the system to be easy to use and extremely capable".
