On September 7th 2006 shareholders of Alcatel at the annual ordinary and extraordinary Shareholders' Meeting, approved all proposed resolutions related to the merger with Lucent Technologies, Inc. All other resolutions were also approved by the Alcatel shareholders. Lucent shareholders approved the merger at the Lucent Shareholders' Meeting, held on the same day.
