A resurgent Redux Global ICT 100 Index heads toward a new high.
Following last month’s decline, the
R-100 gained a substantial 4.5%, the third highest advance in its
history, in the month of August. It closed on 1081.45, up from 1034.85 at the end of July.
All three regions were in positive territory for the month. The
Americas advanced by 6.3% with 33 climbers and just seven decliners.
Asia-Pacific climbed 2.8% with 12 stocks up and eight down. Europe
weighed in with a 2.3 rise, including 32 advancers and seven decliners
with one unchanged.
Any similar gains next month would take the R-100 to a record high.
