22 October, 2004: RFI Global Services Ltd (RFI) has signed an agreement with Electronics Link Asia to develop RFI’s business in Japan, a key market for RFI representing huge potential. Initial development of GSM and GPRS handsets for the established Japanese players evolved in Europe, however 3G handsets for European markets and 3G networks are now being developed locally making it important for RFI to be able to deliver its services locally. Electronics Link Asia (ELA) fulfils a pivotal and unique role in helping British technology companies leverage the Japanese market quickly and effectively. Working with specially selected companies, RFI is the first compliance laboratory that it has represented.
