Velofone selects CiceroPHone for wVoIP service Print E-mail
Thursday, 17 May 2007
Velofone, a UK internet telephony service provider has selected CiceroPhone, Cicero's multimode softphone to power its new Velomobile wVoIP service. Targeted at the corporate / SME market and the international business traveler in particular, Velomobile delivers both wVoIP and Cellular services on a single mobile device so that users can automatically benefit from the lowest cost network to make and receive calls.  For example, Velomobile subscribers with access to airport Wi-Fi hotspots will automatically be logged on so that their calls are routed over IP rather than a more expensive cellular network.   With over 110 million business people using International Roaming services in the EU alone, Velomobile is positioned to significantly reduce communication costs for the business traveller. Velofone has been trialling the service with a number of customers prior to launch, with very positive feedback.
