Ericsson has won significant IMS contracts in
Portugal and
Germany. In the former Ericsson has been selected by Vodafone
Portugal as Core IP Multimedia Subsystem sole supplier to deliver integrated fixed and mobile convergent services. Ericsson’s Core IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) will be employed to develop Vodafone
Portugal next-generation offering. Ericsson has also signed a contract with Vodafone
Germany to be the sole supplier of IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem). Ericsson will also supply a comprehensive range of professional services to ensure a successful network implementation and integration by mid-2007.
