Thomson has contributed to the success of the DVB-H pilot launch completed by leading broadcast service provider Antenna and T-Mobile Hungary, Hungary's largest mobile operator, T-Mobile Hungary and Antenna Hungária used Thomson's Mobile TV head-end and SmartVision™ interactive service platform. During the pilot launch, four live national TV channels with secure conditional access from Irdeto were broadcast to mobile phones, delivering high quality video experience to Hungarian customers. The DVB-H trial used Thomson Argos Mobile TV encoders, Opal DVB-H IP encapsulator and SmartVision service platform for the management of advanced Electronic Service Guide and convergent services.
