Jinny completes US project Print E-mail
Wednesday, 01 August 2007
Jinny Software has successfully completed its project with US rural wireless carrier Viaero Wireless to implement a Short Message Service Centre (SMSC) in its network. As a result of the success, Viaero has now agreed to become an early adopter for future releases of Jinny’s SMSC software, reflecting their desire to further strengthen their relationship with Jinny Software and their confidence in Jinny's ability and experience in the messaging market. The system delivered includes a range of VAS services, such as E-mail to SMS, Push/Pull (content) and Web2SMS, as well as providing a solution to existing Mobile Number Portability issues. Viaero Wireless originally contacted Jinny Software with a speculative query and initial discussions began in October 2006. This resulted in the agreement to conduct a trial of Jinny’s SMSC during the same period. The SMSC was installed, integrated and configured remotely in approximately four weeks to enable Viaero to perform their own testing of the system.
