Friday, 10 August 2007
Hellenic Telecommunications Organisation S.A. (OTE), the Greek full-service telecommunications provider, has selected Telcordia COMMON LANGUAGE® Information Services as it evolves its Operations Support Systems and Business Support Systems (OSS/BSS). Under the contract, OTE receives access to the COMMON LANGUAGE Equipment Registry, which contains more than 450,000 equipment items from nearly 1,000 equipment vendors worldwide. Telcordia will also provide implementation services to assist OTE in deploying its master data management solution. This framework frees OTE from developing a information infrastructure and populating complex databases while allowing OTE to make informed business decisions, reduce equipment spend and improve network capacity and regulatory financial-reporting compliance.
