Ceragon wins Russian WiMAX contract |

Summa Telecom, a Russian telecom operator is deploying Ceragon’s wireless IP solutions as part its new WiMAX network in
Russia. Ceragon provides Summa Telecom with a complete turnkey solution for high capacity wireless backhaul – including installation and project management services - in a deal valued at US$1.6mn in revenue. Summa Telecom was the first carrier to be awarded a nationwide WiMAX spectrum in the
Russian Federation and plans to build a nationwide WiMAX network that will cover some 330 cities by 2010. Geared for fixed-wireless broadband and future mobile WiMAX services, the network will rely on Ceragon’s high-capacity FibeAir IP MAX and FibeAir 640P solutions for high-speed voice and data wireless backhaul. Initial service rollout is planned for Q1 2008.
