Meteor Mobile Communications,
Ireland’s fastest expanding mobile operator, has selected server and storage experts Redstone Technology to design, deploy and support a €1.2mn, HP-based server and storage platform for its new billing system. For both the production and test environments the system comprises HP Integrity rx8640 servers with dual core Itanium 2 processors running HP-UX 11i. These are back ended by HP StorageWorks XP12000 disk array.
