2ergo, the AIM listed provider of convergent mobile communication solutions, has announced that it has secured a contract to become a mobile technology partner for Blyk Ltd (Blyk), the recently launched pan-European free mobile operator for young people, funded by mobile advertising revenues.

Co-founded by the ex President of Nokia, Pekka Ala-Pietilä, Blyk has already signed up leading brands such as Buena Vista, Coca-Cola, L’Oreal, MasterCard, XBOX and Adidas.

2ergo’s Multiserve Platform is at the heart of the service Blyk now uses to power a range of customer acquisition and marketing services, enabling the new UK mobile operator to engage quickly and innovatively with consumers and drive campaigns for its advertising customers.  Initially focusing on SMS, the Multiserve Platform provides future options to open up additional convergent technologies, such as MMS, Video, Voice and WAP.

Neale Graham, Joint CEO 2ergo Group plc, comments: "We are delighted to be supporting Blyk with its mobile technology and marketing requirements, and we believe, as a result of its focused and unique approach to the UK market, it will prove to be a success.  We look forward to supporting the Blyk team moving forward.”
