Ocean Wireless has been chosen by Dobson Fleet Management (“DFM”) to provide GSM coverage for their fleet. DFM has chosen to evaluate BOW’s GSM solution on 5 of their managed container ships. The vessels have a capacity of between 2,100 and 3,500 Twenty-foot Equivalent Units. Using the BOW service, seafarers can, for the first time, make & receive voice calls and send and receive SMS messages using their existing mobile phones.
