Jiangsu Mobile Communications Corporation (JMCC), a wholly owned subsidiary of China Mobile, has selected Kodiak Networks to supply Push-to-Talk (PTT) technology for its customers in the Jiangsu Province. The initial implementation will begin immediately and builds upon a successful commercial pilot serving 20,000 users in the Jiangsu Province earlier this year. JMCC selected the PTT application, which is part of the comprehensive Kodiak Connected Portfolio, after an extensive evaluation of competing technologies available from global vendors. The wireless operator intends to market PTT services to Chinese enterprises, many of which employ tens of thousands of people who need more effective mobile communications capabilities.
