Tuesday, 27 November 2007
Global Crossing has won a five-year contract worth US$1.8 million to provide CIBER NL, a part of CIBER, with collocation and Direct Internet Access (DIA) services.  CIBER provides high-quality IT solutions and services for companies and public sector organizations throughout Europe and eastern Asia . Global Crossing won what was a highly competitive bid to help CIBER start up its main data center in Amsterdam and to use this center for the hosting of all the critical equipment and applications on behalf of CIBER's end-user managed service solutions. The new strategic direction for CIBER NL focuses on delivery and maintenance of a total set of managed services for specific target customers.  In order to set up a completely standardized environment, CIBER selected different vendors and developed a total managed services portfolio, which simplifies doing business with the company.
