Wednesday, 05 December 2007
Telecom New Zealand will use technology from Mformation Technologies to provide seamless device management capabilities to more than 1.7 million wireless customers. Telecom will use the technology to remotely enable new mobile data services, and to provision, configure, diagnose and manage feature phones and smart devices through all phases of their life. This will ensure that Telecom's customers can make the most of its innovative technologies, advanced networks and industry-leading mobile data services. Telecom's enterprise customers will also benefit from a hosted mobile device management and security solution. Telecom selected Mformation to serve its customers because its integrated device management solution is the most comprehensive on the market and because of its proven ability to help mobile operators around the globe deliver innovative new data services. In addition, Telecom anticipates being better able to manage the end-user experience with the full device visibility, real-time control and complete security that Mformation's solution provides. As the Telecom network expands and new value-added services are created, the Mformation solution ensures that the devices in the subscribers' hands are always optimized and working.
