Harris Stratex Networks has announced that du, the new integrated telecommunications service provider in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has purchased a centralised service assurance system for its fixed, mobile and converged network based on the NetBoss  product suite. NetBoss will provide a comprehensive solution for du's quad-play network, which offers voice, data and video services over a converged fixed and mobile network. The customer configurable NetBoss platform will scale to manage du's telecommunications and data infrastructure as new services are deployed and service coverage extended over the rapidly growing network.
