Thursday, 13 December 2007
Mobilna Telefonia Internetowa (MTI), an international telecommunication company based in Poland , has successfully launched Poland 's first converged wVoIP- GSM service using Cicero ’s FMC technology. LoVo is targeted at the corporate / SME market and delivers converged wireless VoIP and cellular services on both Nokia E Series and Microsoft Windows Mobile phones. MTI will initially provide services in Poland and plans to expand its reach across Central and Eastern Europe during 2008. The service uses CiceroPhone VoIP software to enable free communication among VoIP users and low cost connectivity to other networks. In addition, using CiceroController, the service offers seamless in-call handover between Wi-Fi and GSM networks as users from office or home Wi-Fi areas to external GSM areas. Uniquely the service also enables calls to roam onto 3G/UMTS to deliver even more cast savings for users due to growth of third generation networks.
