EDC deploys Silver Peak for real-time access to centralised servers |

(EDC), an international nonprofit organisation, deployed Silver Peak’s NX appliances to accelerate access to the company’s centralised file servers (from both Mac- and Windows-based clients). In addition, EDC is using Silver Peak’s WAN acceleration to optimize the performance of web services, email, and video conferencing, while accelerating the backup of key data using Compellent replication, Data Domain deduplication, and Commvault remote backup software.
