debitel selects Amdocs billing software |

debitel, the largest distributor of mobile services in
Germany following its acquisition of Talkline in 2007, has selected Amdocs to provide a single billing software platform to support the merged entity. debitel will convert more than 9 million customers onto Amdocs Billing, which has supported the Talkline brand since 2000. Based on Amdocs' eight-year record of delivery to Talkline, debitel has selected Amdocs to help it leverage the scalable Amdocs Billing software to support more than three times as many subscribers as the software does today at Talkline. debitel will be able to reduce operational costs by using a single billing platform, including the Amdocs Document Designer product for bill production, to support a total of more than 13 million debitel and Talkline customers. debitel was recently acquired by Freenet, forming the third largest mobile subscriber base in
Germany with more than 20 million customers.
