Customer experience systems vendor Amdocs has won new contracts in the
US and
Bulgaria. In the US Amdocs has signed a six-year agreement for managed services with MetroPCS Communications, the nation's leading provider of unlimited, flat-rate, pay in advance wireless communications service. MetroPCS will license billing, operational support systems (
OSS) and customer care products from Amdocs CES - 7.5, Amdocs' Customer Experience Systems product portfolio. The six-year managed services agreement will support MetroPCS' wireless plans. In addition to licensing the CES 7.5 suite of products, the agreement includes Amdocs' provision of certain billing and operational support services to allow MetroPCS to migrate from its current billing and operational support system to the CES 7.5 suite of products.
In
Bulgaria, Mobiltel (M-Tel), the country’s largest mobile provider, has selected products from the Amdocs CES 7.5 portfolio. Amdocs products will replace M-Tel's existing billing, ordering and customer management operations with integrated Amdocs software. In addition, Amdocs will be the prime systems integrator and will provide ongoing product support and maintenance. M-Tel is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the mobilkom
austria group, and joins other subsidiaries to deploy Amdocs, including in
Austria,
Liechtenstein,
Slovenia,
Serbia and
Macedonia. The Amdocs software will provide M-Tel with a single view of all customer information to reduce time to market for new services and deliver improved customer service for an enhanced customer experience.
