07 January, 2005: Following successful trials over recent months, Turkish GSM operator Turkcell has begun offering its business customers commercial push to talk services. Nokia has provided and deployed the Push to talk over Cellular (PoC) network solution used by Turkcell. Nokia's solution offers a full feature set and smooth migration to the upcoming Open Mobile Architecture (OMA) standard, and it is compatible with the IP multimedia subsystem as standardised in 3GPP.
