ADC has announced that its InterReach Fusion and InterReach Unison distributed antenna systems (DAS) have recently been deployed to provide pervasive, multi-operator wireless and public safety radio services at all major sports venues and many hospitality sites in support of major upcoming activities in Vancouver. In addition, ADC systems are also being deployed at Vancouver International Airport. The major sites covered are BC Place Stadium,
GM Place
, the Vancouver Convention Centre and Convention Centre West Expansion, the Richmond Oval, University of British Columbia (UBC) Winter Sports Centre, the Westin Grand Hotel, and Westin Bayshore Hotel. ADC has extensive experience in covering large public facilities, including previous venues for major sports events such as past Winter Games, the Super Bowl and the Ashes Cricket Series. The deployments provide uniform coverage for 700MHz public safety and 1900MHz CDMA frequencies and will support service for three major Canadian mobile operators.
