Cosmofon Macedonia is using ComOpt’s CellOpt AFP software to maximise the effectiveness of frequency planning across its entire network. By using CellOpt AFP, Cosmofon Macedonia is able to tighten its frequency reuse plan, while maintaining the quality of the network. This enables the operator to meet service demands in densely populated areas, as well as prepare for the overall future demands of greater subscriber numbers as the operator continues to grow. Cosmofon Macedonia selected ComOpt’s software because of the software’s compatibility with its coverage prediction and network measurement tools, as well as the ability to easily integrate it with Ericsson’s OSS and Motorola’s OMC-R platform.
