Uniword Telecom Ltd., one of India’s leading telecommunication equipment suppliers, has contracted with Siemens Communications to supply wireless modules for GSM desktop phones, point of sales terminals and gateways. Under the terms of the agreement, Siemens is to supply millions of euros worth of electronic components to Uniword. With this first contract for wireless modules in India, Siemens Communications is continuing to expand its strong position in this growth region.
