Open-Plug has announced a partnership with Sonim to integrate the Sonim Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PoC) Xperience client into Open-Plug ELIPS. Sonim has become the latest industry player to join the Configurable Phone Initiative, to be announced at 3GSM. Open-Plug is the latest vendor to work with Sonim's Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) PoC clients, joining a group of existing partners including three of the top five handset brands. Sonim's new PoC OMA Client enables mobile operators to accelerate their PTT deployment plans with the security of complete interoperability.
