Ovum and ITR, the Japanese-based IT research and consulting firm, have announced an alliance to deliver research and consulting services to the Japanese market. With this new partnership, Ovum and ITR can offer telecoms operators, vendors and large enterprises a unique, complete perspective on the information and telecommunications technology landscape. Branded Ovum-ITR, this research and consulting enterprise will provide advice and consulting from a number of perspectives. Ovum-ITR will offer advisory services - continuous access to analysts and research - in the areas of broadband, IP enterprise, mobile, wireless multimedia, wireless software, wholesale, wireline strategy and regulation. The advisory services cover market analysis, market forecasts and other quantitative data, as well as qualitative information on technology, services, regulatory trends, scenario analyses, and competitor analyses.
