Siemens Business Services is selling the Sinitec group of companies to a&o. A contract finalising the deal was signed today. Sinitec provides services for IT hardware in Germany and employs around 1,100 people. a&o specialises in the maintenance and repair of information and telecommunication equipment. Through this step, Siemens Business Services will in future, in the field of product-related services, also concentrate in Germany much more intensively on higher-quality services - a strategy that the company has already successfully put into practice in other countries. Sinitec provides IT services throughout Germany for PCs, laptops, printers, server systems and related equipment. a&o operates a Germany-wide network of technicians from bases at Neuss, Willich and Hanover, and specialises in the maintenance and repair of information and telecommunication equipment (ITC). Its services range from telephone consulting, shipping and replacement of spare parts to equipment repair.
