TD-SCDMA Forum gets new secretary-general Print E-mail

In accordance with the provisions of the TD-SCDMA Forum constitution and the resolution of the sixth TD-SCDMA Forum executive council meeting, representatives from the director members of the Forum have voted on the new secretary-general of the Forum in written forms. Dr. Wang Jing, who is nominated by the Nortel Networks (China), has been unanimously elected as the new secretary-general (concurrent post) of TD-SCDMA Forum.

Dr. Wang Jing studied in the Mathematics department of Beijing University from 1980 to1984. He studied computer science in the University of Texas from 1992 to 1994 and was awarded the Master's Degree of Science in Computer Science. During 1994 to 2003, he worked in Nortel Networks (Dallas) and held the posts of system engineering designer/manager/senior manager successively. From 2003 he has been the business alliance director in Nortel Networks (China). He is also in charge of TD-SCDMA projects in Nortel Networks.
