Convergys Corporation has announced that it has extended its outsourcing agreement with Cincinnati Bell Inc, a Cincinnati-based local exchange and wireless services provider. As part of the contract extension, Convergys will continue to provide professional consulting and data processing services to Cincinnati Bell. Additionally, Cincinnati Bell has agreed to deploy Infinys, Convergys' modular and convergent business support system (BSS) software.

Infinys software, with its underlying component-based architecture, will provide the flexibility we need to optimize our ordering and billing environment, while allowing us to serve our customers better through the creation, launch, and activation of new products and bundled offerings quickly and efficiently."
