Industry research firm Infonetics Research, Inc has named Cirpack the largest supplier of softswitch platforms to telecom service providers in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Infonetics reported that in 2004, Cirpack secured 24% of all the sofswitch licences shipped in the European, Middle East and African markets and 46% of the Class-5 sofswitch licences which are used by operators to deliver telephony services over broadband with VoIP. Cirpack deployed over 3 times more Class-5 subscriber lines in EMEA than its closest competitor. Infonetics also reported that Cirpack is now the third largest Class-5 softswitch supplier worldwide with 9% of the lines shipped in 2004.
