09 July, 2004: Telecom Italia Media announced that today it completed the disposal of a 40% equity interest in Webfin SpA, holder of 66% of Matrix, owner of the Virgilio portal. The stake was sold to Vertico SpA, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Telecom Italia already holder of a 33.3% stake in Matrix. The sale was closed at a price of €42.6m. www.telecomitalia.it |
